Patrick Norris is a General Partner at Notion Capital, a London based VC firm focussed on early-stage B2B software businesses in Europe with $500m+ in AuM. He is an entrepreneur turned investor with a focus primarily on Fintech and the DACH & UK regions. He also co-leads the fund’s fundraising activities.
Patrick began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he worked across both the Investment Banking Division and Fixed Income Capital Markets, with a specific focus on structuring innovative capital management solutions for large corporate and financial institutions. During the financial crisis, he was heavily involved in the structuring of European government bailouts of financial institutions. Patrick left Morgan Stanley to become VP of Corporate Strategy at Curve Securities before becoming a three-time founder of businesses in the tech, media and retail sectors and, lastly prior to joining Notion, sourcing and advising on TMT transaction opportunities in Europe for US growth equity funds.
Patrick has led investments into Upvest, Claimsforce, Demystdata, Vortexa and Kisanhub, amongst others, and also worked closely with Workable, Dealflo (acquired by OneSpan), Duedil, Elevaate (acquired by Quotient), Smartpipe, Mojn (acquired by LiveIntent) and Trustev (acquired by Transunion).
Patrick is a graduate of Edinburgh University, Manchester Business School and The Economics University of Vienna.
