Head of Signal Processing and Enrichment

Romain is Head of Signal Processing and Enrichment at Vortexa. Romain’s team is responsible for interpreting enriched satellite data to predict meaningful vessel events.

Prior to joining Vortexa, Romain started his career as an inventor and consultant in the medical devices industry at TTP in Cambridge. This was followed by working within the ad-tech and customer retention space at Pluto TV in California, just before Viacom acquired the business for $340m. Romain has also worked in M&A at Technip during a $290m EV acquisition of Stone & Webster Process Technologies, and as a rocket scientist for the French Atomic Energy Agency.

Romain holds a 1st class MPhil in Energy Technologies from The University of Cambridge, and a MSc Mathematics and Physics from Ecole Centrale Paris.
