Discover what a day is like for Vortexa marketing intern Anna Zhminko and get insights into her role and our company culture.
Anna is a Marketing Intern based in Vortexa’s London office, supporting global growth campaigns and marketing activities. Prior to joining the company, Anna worked part-time as a journalist at an independent Ukrainian media while finishing a BSc in Communications and Media. Fun fact: Whilst working at Vortexa, Anna is also finishing a MSc in Criminology & Criminal Justice!
My day-to-day often consists of copywriting, watching marketing metrics or researching information. And, of course, sending emails & newsletters!
The ability to draw conclusions from marketing analytics and engage in storytelling to tell about the energy industry.
It all started with an unexpected move to London this summer and looking for an internship in marketing which led me to Vortexa and I’m incredibly happy it happened so!
Open-mindedness, determination and creativity.
Everybody at Vortexa is deeply passionate about what they do and are always open to hear your ideas or help with anything! You feel encouraged to grow and learn and there is always something new to try.
Mostly with the marketing team but I often also reach out to team members across Vortexa regarding comms or campaigns!
I go through my to-do list from last week, create a new one for this week and check Slack for any updates.
I would say the freedom to learn and the people to learn from. There’s always more to explore at Vortexa and everybody is willing to share their experience. It is also rewarding to see how dynamic the energy markets are from the inside perspective and be a part of the global change!
