I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of technology and the energy industry, and after learning about Vortexa and the pioneering technologies the firm is developing, I knew that not applying for a role would be a mistake. After meeting the team in-person, I was sure Vortexa’s the right place to start my career.
The most interesting part of my role is how varied it is, and how we’re exposed to all parts of the business. I get to work with people from across the organisation and tackle challenges on a wide spectrum, including markets, data, product, research, and more.
The team at Vortexa has made a significant investment in our development that has set us up to reach milestones quite quickly. Recently I got the opportunity to present to large clients alongside my colleagues, exposing us to international and senior audiences, and the wider industry.
I start my day off by catching up on market developments, and I attend meetings with other team members. I then move onto tasks such as market analytics, data issues, and support requests. In the afternoons, I usually focus on long-term development projects.
Willingness to learn, being a team player, and being focused on solving problems and thinking critically.
The culture at Vortexa is collaborative, supportive, and excellence-focused. Everyone is passionate about the industry and what they do, and you can always learn something new from your colleagues.
Focus on building a versatile skill set and demonstrating a proactive, problem-solving mindset—Vortexa values adaptability and initiative.
Dynamic, exciting, fast-paced.
