What does day-to-day life in your role look like?

I take care of content production and distribution across different channels as well as optimising creative processes internally.

What would you say is the most interesting aspect of your role?

Being able to collaborate with so many people across different teams within the company is really great. We are always moving and never stand still, no two days are the same at Vortexa!

What was your path to joining Vortexa?

Before starting here, I worked in social media and content management across different industry sectors but never in oil and gas / technology so it was an exciting opportunity for me to be able to join Vortexa. I worked in content creation & management and ultimately realised that the role I have now is a true passion of mine and Vortexa allows me to grow this passion even further.

[Vortexa] is a very welcoming place and it makes you feel like you’re a part of the team from the very first day and you don’t really feel like a new joiner for long here.
What kind of qualities does a person need to have to succeed at Vortexa?

They need to be open-minded and collaborative with good organisational skills.

What do you like about the culture?

It is a very welcoming place and it makes you feel like you’re a part of the team from the very first day and you don’t really feel like a new joiner for long here. Vortexa values personal and professional growth as well which is great.

Who do you collaborate with?

It really depends on the project but I usually collaborate with the marketing, product and analysis teams.

What are the first three things you do on a Monday morning?

Coffee first, always. Then I like to check Slack and after that I usually create my to-do list for the week.

What energises you most about working as a Content & Creative Ops Manager at Vortexa?

Everyday is truly different in this role and I get to work with incredible people across different teams and learn something new everyday too. It’s great to be able to work in a company that is so international and welcoming!
